NEW YORK, July 20 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks on the move on Monday:

CIT GROUP INC CIT.N

The company's board signed off on a deal for $3 billion in rescue financing from a group of bondholders, a move the lender hopes will stave off bankruptcy, sources said on Sunday. [ID:nN19323064]

Shares soared 97 percent to $1.37.

CISCO SYSTEMS INC (CSCO.O)

Credit Suisse upgraded the company to "outperform" from "neutral," saying that data points suggested "improving business trends at Cisco throughout the quarter."

Shares of the Dow component advanced 1.5 percent to $20.83.
