UN Security Council condemns N.Korea nuclear test
UNITED NATIONS, May 25 (Reuters) - The U.N. Security Council on Monday unanimously condemned North Korea's latest nuclear test, saying it was a "clear violation" of a resolution passed in 2006 after Pyongyang's first atomic test.
"The members of the Security Council have decided to start work immediately on a Security Council resolution on this matter," said the statement after a closed-door council meeting. (Reporting by Louis Charbonneau; Editing by Peter Cooney)
