Anheuser says to contest InBev's board removal claim
NEW YORK, June 27 (Reuters) - Anheuser-Busch Cos Inc (BUD.N) will "challenge" InBev NV's INTB.BR claim that Anheuser shareholders can remove all 13 of its board members without cause, executives said on Friday.
The comments were made at the end of a webcast presentation by Anheuser Chief Executive August Busch IV and Chief Financial Officer Randolph Baker to discuss its rejection of InBev's $46.3 billion takeover bid.
InBev filed a lawsuit in Delaware Chancery Court a day earlier seeking to confirm that information. (Reporting by Aarthi Sivaraman; editing by Jeffrey Benkoe)
