Golf-Ogilvy dominates Casey to win Match Play title
MARANA, Arizona, March 1 (Reuters) - Geoff Ogilvy eased to his sixth PGA Tour title with a commanding 4&3 victory over Britain's Paul Casey in Sunday's final at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship.
Three up after dominating the morning round, the Australian world number eight covered the first nine holes of the afternoon in five-under 31 before sealing the win with a birdie at the par-four 33rd.
It was Ogilvy's third victory in a World Golf Championships (WGC) event, following his successes at the 2006 Accenture Match Play Championship and last year's CA Championship in Miami.
Englishman Casey, who had not trailed in any of his five previous matches at Dove Mountain's Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, lost the opening hole of the day to Ogilvy and never got back on level terms. (Reporting by Mark Lamport-Stokes; Editing by Kevin Fylan)
