Obama: Huge oil price rises not in Saudi interests

WASHINGTON, May 28 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama said on Thursday that it was not in the interests of Saudi Arabia to have "huge spikes" in oil prices.

Obama, who is due to visit Riyadh next week, spoke about energy prices during a meeting with visiting Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
