LME warehouses in California unaffected by LA quake

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Two warehouses operated by the London Metal Exchange were not affected by a 5.8-magnitude earthquake centred east of Los Angeles, California, on Tuesday.

California Cartage Company and Metro International Trade Services, both based in Long Beach, said operations were running smoothly.

Pound picking up strength
