Southern Copper says working despite Peru strike
LIMA, June 30 (Reuters) - Southern Copper (SPC.LM)(PCU.N) said on Monday it was using temporary workers at its Cuajone mine and Ilo smelter to offset the impacts of a labor strike.
"Production has not been significantly affected," company executive Alberto Giles told Reuters.
He said 8 percent of workers showed up at Cuajone and 34 percent at Ilo. (Reporting by Terry Wade)
