Valero says Corpus Christi HOC work canceled
HOUSTON, June 30 (Reuters) - Valero Energy Corp (VLO.N) said on Tuesday a planned stack test on heavy oil cracker No. 21 in the west plant of its 315,000-barrel-per-day (bpd) Corpus Christi, Texas, refinery has been canceled.
"This was supposed to be a 'stack test,' but it has been canceled, but the report to the TCEQ wasn't rescinded," said Valero spokesman Bill Day in a statement. "There is no planned maintenance on the HOC."
A notice on the planned HOC unit work was filed on Tuesday afternoon with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
