US crude rises $1 a barrel on hurricane concerns

SINGAPORE, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Oil prices rose $1 to $78.43 a barrel on Monday, recouping some of the previous session's loss of nearly 3 percent, on concerns that a powerful hurricane would cut U.S. oil and gas supplies and a weak dollar. (Reporting by Judy Hua; Editing by Clarence Fernandez)
