TREASURIES-US bonds extend losses after 30-year auction
NEW YORK, Nov 12 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury debt prices extended losses on Thursday, with the 30-year bond briefly trading over a full point lower in price, following the auction of $16 billion of the 30-year bonds.
Benchmark 10-year Treasury notes US10YT=RR were trading with a yield of 3.49 percent, up from a high yield of 3.47 percent in an auction of the 10-year notes on Tuesday, while the 30-year bond US30YT=RR was 20/32 lower to yield 4.45 percent 4.41 percent late on Tuesday.
Following the auction, the 30-year bond briefly traded over a full point lower in price, with its yield reaching to as high as 4.48 percent. (Reporting by Chris Reese: Editing by Diane Craft)
