Slovakia to call state of emergency over gas-agency
PRAGUE, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Slovakia will declare a state of emergency over a drop in gas supplies from Russia, Czech news agency CTK reported on Tuesday, citing Slovak Economy Minister Lubomir Jahnatek.
Supplies to customers will not be cut, it said. Shipments of Russian natural gas to Europe through Ukraine dropped significantly on Tuesday due to a price dispute between Moscow and Kiev. (Reporting by Jan Lopatka; Editing by Michael Winfrey)
