FT says Reuters looks set to endorse Thomson offer
NEW YORK (Reuters) - News and financial data provider Reuters RTR.L RTRSY.O looked set to endorse an offer from Canadian publisher Thomson Corp.TOC.TO, the Financial Times reported on its Web site on Friday.
The FT reported that Reuters appeared willing to recommend an offer from the Canadian company.
Reuters earlier on Friday said it had received a take-over approach, but declined to name its suitor.
