S.Korea Samsung Engineering wins $1.2 bln UAE deal

SEOUL, Oct 29 (Reuters) - South Korea's Samsung Engineering (028050.KS) said on Thursday it won a $1.2 billion fertiliser plant project from FERTIL, a subsidiary of the state-run Abu Dhabi National Oil Company in the United Arab Emirates.

The plant will be located in Ruwais, 250 kilometers west of Abu Dhabi, and will produce ammonia and urea from January, 2013.
