SEOUL, Nov 16 (Reuters) - State-run Korea Electric Power Corp (KEPCO) (015760.KS) has dropped plans for a $700 million global bond issue, a local media report said on Monday. The South Korean power monopoly made the decision due to concerns about interest rates and exposure to foreign exchange risks, online news outlet MoneyToday said, quoting a KEPCO source.

KEPCO officials were not immediately available for comment.
