HSBC Asia CEO: no timeframe yet for Shanghai listing

SINGAPORE, Nov 11 (Reuters) - HSBC's Asia-Pacific chief executive said on Wednesday that the bank had not yet set a timeframe for the planned listing of its shares on Shanghai's stock market.

"It is our intention to, with the authorities, work towards obtaining a listing. We don't know what that timeframe is but we very much think it's in the best interest of our shareholders," HSBC's Asia-Pacific CEO Sandy Flockhart said in an interview with CNBC.
