Soccer-Roundup-Elvis nets four in Changchun win, Seongnam held
SINGAPORE, May 28 (Reuters) - Roundup of the weekend action in Asia's domestic soccer leagues.
JAPAN
Brazilian defender Nene salvaged a point for Japanese champions Urawa Reds, who were held to a 1-1 home draw against Yokohama F-Marinos.
Former Reds midfielder Koji Yamase put Yokohama ahead with a superb long-range drive five minutes before the break, stunning a crowd of 50,000 at Saitama Stadium.
Nene smashed home the equaliser in the 67th minute but Urawa's inability to take their chances means Gamba Osaka now enjoy a four-point lead at the top of the J-League after their 2-1 win at JEF United Chiba.
CHINA
Honduran striker Elvis Scott scored all four goals to send Changchun Yatai back to the top of Chinese Super League with a 4-1 win over Shanghai Shenhua.
Dalian Shide have recovered from their poor start to the season and moved up to second place, two points behind Changchun, with a 3-2 win over champions Shandong Luneng at the Jinzhou Stadium.
