SINGAPORE, March 1 (Reuters) -American glamour girl Natalie Gulbis has all the money, endorsements and fame she needs -- now it's titles she craves.

After winning her maiden LPGA title at the Evian Masters last year and pocketing more than $3 million in career earnings, Gulbis said her sole focus was to iron out the shortcomings in her game and to challenge for titles.

The American is currently in joint 13th place at the $2 million HSBC Women's Champions tournament in Singapore with little chance of reeling in runaway leader Lorena Ochoa.

"I've got off to a slow start this year so I'm going to have to grind to pick it up a little bit," the 25-year-old told Reuters after her third round at the Tanah Merah Country Club on Saturday.

Gulbis insisted she is no longer content just to be playing on the biggest stage in women's golf. She wants to win.

"It's about being in contention every single week, having a chance to win tournaments. That's what it's about now," she said, adding that winning a major was definitely on her radar.

"I've got to clean up my mistakes. Once I do that I'll be in contention for sure."
