Pasadena Refining to restart refinery-filing
SINGAPORE, March 3 (Reuters) - Pasadena Refining System Inc. will restart on Monday its 117,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Pasadena, Texas, the company said in a filing with state regulators.
Pasadena shut down the refinery last week following a power failure.
The company gave the start-up date as an estimate only and would provide more information later, it said in the notice, filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
Pasadena Refining is a 50-50 joint venture of Brazil's state-owned Petrobras (PETR4.SA) and Astra Holding USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Compagnie Nationale a Portefeuille of Belgium. (Reporting by Maryelle Demongeot; Editing by Ben Tan)
