OECD recovery needed to spur consumers, trade-Rio
SINGAPORE, Nov 14 (Reuters) - OECD economies must recover for the resurgence of international trade and consumer spending needed for miner Rio Tinto (RIO.L: Quote, Profile, Research) and other industries to be on a sustainable footing, its chief executive said on Saturday.
Tom Albanese also told Reuters, when asked if he was concerned about the strength of the Australian dollar, that to some extent it reflected the strength of the Australian economy. (Reporting by David Fogarty and Jerry Norton; Editing by Neil Chatterjee)
