FACTBOX - Earthquake aid pledges for China

(Reuters) - China said on Tuesday the official death toll from the 7.9 magnitude quake has risen to 39,500 people in Sichuan province.

Authorities say they expect the final toll for the May 12 quake, the worst to hit China in three decades, to exceed 50,000.

Here are some of the aid pledges that have been made to date.

CHINA:

- 13.9 billion yuan ($2 billion) with 12.5 billion yuan in cash and 1.4 yuan in relief supplies.

- Sports star and Houston Rockets centre Yao Ming gave two million yuan ($214,000) and half a million yuan to the Red Cross Society of China.

- Hong Kong: HK$316 million ($40 million) from the government, after further HK$5 million announced Tuesday. HK$30 million ($3.8 million) from the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

- Macau: 100 million yuan ($14.3 million) from the government and 10 million yuan from the Macau Foundation.
