Golf-Gronberg and Rose in leading quartet at Disney Classic
MIAMI, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Britain's Justin Rose and Sweden's Mathias Gronberg shared the third round lead with Americans Justin Leonard and George McNeill at the Disney Classic at Lake Buena Vista in Florida on Saturday.
The quartet head into Sunday's final round on 13 under-par at 203 but the competition is wide open with a total of 13 players within three shots of the lead.
Of the leading four it was Gronberg who delivered the most impressive round on Saturday with a six under 66.
"It was nice. I played pretty good the front nine. I didn't make a couple of possible birdie putts that I had.
"But the back nine was great. I just kept my head down and focused on the pack of trying to make some birdies and catch some players," he said.
Gronberg shared the best score of the day with American Will MacKenzie who pushed himself into contention two shots off the lead.
Rose is searching for his first victory on the PGA Tour in his 149th start and it is over two years since he went into the final day on the tour with the lead or a share of it.
"It is about not thinking that you're leading because I certainly don't see any pressure out there tomorrow," said Rose.
"I don't feel like I'm leading the tournament because there's so many guys in and around the lead. Continued...
