Soccer-Roundup-Shide extend lead in China, Seongnam smash Suwon
SINGAPORE, April 2 (Reuters) - Roundup of the weekend action in Asia's domestic soccer leagues.
CHINA
* Eight-times champions Dalian Shide had Zhao Xuri's 19th minute goal to thank for a 1-0 victory away at Tianjin, which extended their lead at the top of the Chinese Super League to three points after four matches.
Last season's double winners Shandong Luneng could only manage a 1-1 draw at newly promoted Henan Jianye. Henan's Lu Feng scored both goals in the match. Shandong remained second, ahead of Tianjin and Shanghai Shenhua on goal difference.
SOUTH KOREA
Seongnam surged to the top of the K-League standings with a 3-1 home win over Suwon, giving the unbeaten Chunma their third straight win.
Seongnam lead the league on goal difference with Pohang, FC Seoul and Ulsan in hot pursuit.
FC Seoul had the chance to make it four wins from four but had to settle for a 0-0 draw at Gwangju, while Pohang beat Chonbuk 2-1 and Ulsan scored a 1-0 win at Busan.
