** Telecommunications equipment maker ADC Telecommunications Inc (ADCT.O: Quote, Profile, Research) said it will buy privately held LGC Wireless for $169 million to further expand into the wireless communications market.

** Munich Re (MUVGn.DE: Quote, Profile, Research), the world's second-biggest reinsurer, will buy a 65 percent stake in the online insurance unit of South Korea's Daum Communications Corp (035720.KQ: Quote, Profile, Research) for about $120 million, a newspaper said. [nL2295332]

** Havells India Ltd (HVEL.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) said private equity firm Warburg Pincus LLC [WP.UL] will pick up an 11.2 percent stake in the firm for $110 million. [nDEL286972]

** South Korea's state-run Korea National Oil Corp (KNOC) said it had made a bid for British oil firm Burren Energy BUR.L, but the offer was rejected, confirming news reports from a day earlier. [nSP130609]

** Home Inns & Hotels Management Inc (HMIN.O: Quote, Profile, Research), China's biggest budget hotel operator, said it would pay 340 million yuan ($45 million), including assumption of debt, to buy Top Star, a local two-year-old chain with 26 economy hotels. [nPEK37512]
