WELLINGTON, Jan 13 (Reuters) - New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori won the toss and elected to field against West Indies in the fifth and final one-day international at McLean Park, Napier on Tuesday. New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill, who made the second highest score by a player on debut with 122 not out in the fourth match in Auckland on Saturday, has moved down the order to accommodate the return of Jesse Ryder.

Ryder was dropped for the Auckland match after he missed a team meeting and training session following a bout of late night drinking. West Indies brought in all-rounder Kieron Pollard and dropped left-arm spinner Nikita Miller from the team that played in Auckland. The series is tied 1-1 with the first and fourth match both abandoned due to rain.

New Zealand: Daniel Vettori (captain), Brendon McCullum, Jesse Ryder, Martin Guptill, Ross Taylor, Daniel Flynn, Neil Broom, Grant Elliott, Kyle Mills, Tim Southee, Mark Gillespie.
