 SINGAPORE, Jan 7 (Reuters) - CapitaCommercial Trust
(CACT.SI) may be in focus on Wednesday after the firm managed
to secure refinancing for some of its loans.
 U.S. stocks gained on Tuesday on the increased likelihood
of a government stimulus package after the release of minutes
from the last Federal Reserve policy meeting painted a dismal
picture of the U.S economy. ----------------------MARKET

 Stocks and factors to watch:
 -- CAPITACOMMERCIAL TRUST (CACT.SI)
 - CapitaCommercial Trust said it has secured a three-year
loan of up to S$580 million ($394.3 million) to refinance
commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) that mature in

 -- ARA ASSET MANAGEMENT (ARAM.SI)
 - Property fund manager ARA Asset Management, which manages
Suntec REIT (SUNT.SI) and Fortune REIT (FORT.SI), said it plans
to launch country-focused funds for China, India and Japan to
take advantage of declining real estate prices that it expects

 -- OLAM (OLAM.SI)
 - The global cotton business should start to recover as the
recession which decimated demand for the fiber begins to
gradually lift, said a senior official of the cotton unit of

 - Singapore's benchmark Straits Times Index .FTSTI fell
0.58 percent to 1,913.66 points on Tuesday.
 - The Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI gained 0.69
percent to 9,015.10. The Nasdaq Composite Index .IXIC rose
1.5 percent to 1,652.38 on Tuesday.
