Soccer-Bolivar win record 16th Bolivian title

LA PAZ, July 5 (Reuters) - Bolivar won the Bolivian Apertura championship when they beat Real Mamore 2-1 on the final day on Sunday, finishing a point ahead of Real Potosi to lift a record 16th league title.

Brazilian Charles da Silva struck the winner in stoppage time after Uruguayan William Ferreira, the top scorer, had put Bolivar ahead with a 40th-minute penalty.

Richard Uriona equalised with a penalty in the 74th.

Real Potosi won their last match 4-1 away to outgoing champions Aurora, who had three players sent off, Humberto Viviani after only 21 minutes. Limbert Mendez and Julio Hurtado followed in the last 20 minutes.
