ABC Learning says may sell entire UK business

SYDNEY (Reuters) - A.B.C. Learning Centres (ABS.AX), Australia's top childcare operator, is considering selling its entire British business and has already received some highly conditional proposals, ABC said on Friday.

"The current sale process envisages that the transaction will complete in the first-half of the 2009 fiscal year and the profit recognised as a one-off item," the company said.
