ANZ CEO says talk of C.Suisse hire speculation

SYDNEY, March 2 (Reuters) - Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd (ANZ.AX) Chief Executive Mike Smith said on Monday talk of ANZ hiring Credit Suisse to advise on potential acquisitions in Asia was "market speculation".

Smith made the remarks to Reuters at the sidelines of a conference.
