Santos says agrees to sell Australia LNG to Petronas

SYDNEY, June 18 (Reuters) - Australian oil and gas firm Santos Ltd (STO.AX) has agreed to sell 2 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas to Malaysia's Petronas [PETR.UL] from its Gladstone project in Australia, it said on Thursday.

The agreement covers a period of 20 years from 2014 and includes an option for an additional 1 million tonnes a year.

Santos said the terms and prices were confidential but in line with the wider industry. (Reporting by Jonathan Standing)
