MELBOURNE, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Australian conglomerate Wesfarmers Ltd (WES.AX) said on Tuesday that its Coles supermarkets have been trading well since reporting first-quarter same-store sales growth of 6.1 percent.

"Trading has continued positively through October," the company's annual shareholder meeting was told.

Wesfarmers said its overhaul of the underperforming supermarket chain was on track, with an improved fresh food offering and new store trials trading well. (Reporting by Victoria Thieberger)
