Nikkei rises as trading firms gain; Toshiba up
TOKYO, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei stock average rose 0.9 percent on Tuesday, buoyed by a broad range of shares after Wall Street climbed, with Mitsubishi Corp (8058.T: Quote, Profile, Research) and other trading firms up on higher commodities prices. Toshiba Corp (6502.T: Quote, Profile, Research) rose more than 2 percent after it made an offer for French nuclear reactor builder Areva's (CEPFi.PA: Quote, Profile, Research) power transmission and distribution business in a consortium with investment fund Innovation Network Corp of Japan.
