TOKYO, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Japanese Finance Minister Hirohisa Fujii will skip the APEC finance ministers' meeting to be held in Singapore on Thursday, the finance ministry said on Tuesday.

Parliamentary Finance Secretary Shinichiro Furumoto will attend on Fujii's behalf, accompanied by Rintaro Tamaki, vice finance minister for international affairs, the ministry said.

The finance ministers will meet ahead of a summit of the leaders of member nations of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation forum on Saturday and Sunday. [ID:nSP535421] (Reporting by Leika Kihara)
