Nikkei climbs more than 2 percent
TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei stock average rose more than 2 percent on Tuesday, with trading houses such as Itochu Corp (8001.T: Quote, Profile, Research) surging after oil rose and banks gaining after a slew of U.S. peers beat forecasts.
At 6:10 a.m. British time the benchmark Nikkei .N225 had gained 258.47 points to 13,062.12. The broader Topix .TOPX was up 1.7 percent at 1,273.86.
