TOKYO, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Japan's government does not plan to guarantee bridge loans for struggling Japan Airlines Corp (9205.T) even if its main banks agree to provide them, Kyodo news agency quoted an unidentified senior finance ministry official as saying on Tuesday.

The government is scrambling to find a solution to shortfalls in JAL's pension fund and to its need for short-term financing before the airline announces its first-half results on Nov. 13. (Reporting by Nobuhiro Kubo)
