TOKYO, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Japan's finance minister said on Tuesday he was concerned about a rise in long-term bond yields and the rise likely reflected uncertainty about the government's budget plans.

Hirohisa Fujii, speaking to reporters after a cabinet meeting, also said it was important not to lose the trust of the bond market.

The yield curve for government bonds has steepened over the past month on renewed concerns about possible increases in debt issuance later this fiscal year and worries about the size of JGB issuance in fiscal 2010/2011, which starts next April. (Reporting by Stanley White)
