TOKYO, Nov 13 (Reuters) - Japan's Hokuriku Electric Power Co (9505.T) said on Friday it began the process of manually shutting its 1,206 megawatt No.2 reactor at its Shika nuclear plant earlier in the day due to a technical problem.

A company spokesman said it had not yet set a restart date for the unit. (Reporting by James Topham)
