CANADA STOCKS-Financials lead TSX to higher close
TORONTO, May 25 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index ended higher on Monday, led up by the financials sector, as investors snapped up bank shares in anticipation of this week's start of the Canadian bank earnings season.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 79.74 points, or 0.8 percent, at 10,073.16. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
