TAIPEI, Sept 22 (Reuters) - Taiwan newspapers carried the following stories on Tuesday. Reuters has not verified these stories and does not vouch for their accuracy.

CHINA TIMES

-- Taiwan High-Speed Railway Co (2633.TWO) could get a loan of about T$390 billion ($12 billion) as early as November after the government acts to save the struggling bullet train operator.

-- Wang Yi, director of China's Taiwan Affairs office, said Taiwan and China would sign an FTA-like pact known as the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement when both sides were prepared.

UNITED DAILY NEWS

-- A business group from China's Hainan province cancelled a visit to south Taiwan after the southern city of Kaohsiung upset the Chinese government by inviting the Dalai Lama and screening a film about Uighur leader Rebiya Kadeer.

LIBERTY TIMES

-- A 23-year-old pregnant woman died from the H1N1 flu virus after she refused to take Tamiflu due to fears it could have negative effects on her unborn baby. The flu pandemic has caused 17 deaths on the island so far.
