TAIPEI, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Taiwan newspapers carried the following stories on Tuesday. Reuters has not verified these stories and does not vouch for their accuracy.

CHINA TIMES

--Taiwan's envoy to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting this month will speak to Chinese President Hu Jintao in a private meeting about a free trade agreement-like pact.

-- Taiwan has asked to include petrochemical, textile and machinery products on a list of sectors eligible for tariff concessions as part of the trade deal with China.

UNITED DAILY NEWS

-- Taiwan government officials denied reports that companies in the United States had decided to suspend shipments of bone-in beef to Taiwan.

-- Vanessa Shih, Taiwan's representative to Singapore, said the two sides could begin talks on a free trade agreement after the signing of a similar deal with China.
