TAIPEI, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Prudential Financial Inc's (PRU.N) international investing arm is keeping its growth plans intact despite the widening global financial crisis, an executive said on Tuesday. Christopher Cooper, chief executive of Prudential International Investments, added that his unit at the U.S. company is well positioned to ride out the current turmoil in global financial markets.

"I don't think the global financial crisis has slowed down our growth plans," he told Reuters in an interview. "We feel like we are in a very good position to weather the storm."
