SINGAPORE (Reuters) - BMW-Sauber's Nick Heidfeld was handed a three place penalty on the Singapore Grand Prix starting grid on Saturday for impeding Honda's Rubens Barrichello in qualifying.
The German had qualified in sixth place and fell to ninth after stewards ruled he had obstructed the Brazilian in the first session. Barrichello qualified 18th.
