Mother bailed over fire that killed her two boys
LONDON (Reuters) - Police have bailed the mother of two boys killed in a house fire after her arrest on suspicion of manslaughter and child neglect.
Denise Goldsmith, 29, was released until early December after being questioned on Wednesday.
Taylor and Lewis Jenkins, aged five and seven, died in a fire at their terraced house in Eastbourne, East Sussex, last Saturday. Post mortem examinations found they died from smoke inhalation.
Their mother suffered minor injuries in the blaze.
Officers from Sussex Police's major crime branch arrested Goldsmith after talks with the Crown Prosecution Service.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, although police say it was not started deliberately.
