STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Icelandic investment firm Exista said on Friday it had decided to sell its 39.6 stake in the Bakkavor group to founders and directors of the Icelandic food company. Exista, which earlier this week sold its stake in Norway's Storebrand to mutual insurance company Gjensidige Forsikring BA, said it was selling its 855 million Bakkavor shares for 9.79 Iceland crowns ($0.098) per share.

The deal was subject to creditors approval, it said in a statement.
