Sarkozy says euro zone working on crisis plan
COLOMBEY-LES-DEUX-EGLISES, France (Reuters) - French President Nicolas Sarkozy said on Saturday the countries in the euro zone were working on a joint solution to the financial crisis but he declined to elaborate on its details.
"We are working, we know where we want to get to and how we want to get there, but first we want to coordinate between the euro zone countries and then all of Europe," Sarkozy told a news conference held jointly with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Sarkozy said it was not a good idea to speak about the result of a meeting before it had even taken place.
