Injured skipper Kumble out of second Australia test

MOHALI, India (Reuters) - Indian skipper Anil Kumble pulled out of the second test against Australia on Friday after failing to recover from a shoulder injury.

Kumble, who turned 38 Friday, sustained the injury in the drawn first test in Bangalore and was replaced by wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who walked out for the toss with Australian skipper Ricky Ponting.
