More German banks should use rescue fund-Merkel

BEIJING (Reuters) - More banks should tap Germany's 500 billion euro (403.8 billion pound) rescue package designed to restore confidence in the financial system, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said in Beijing on Friday.

She also said the current slump on stock markets was an expression of uncertainty about whether the symptoms of the global financial crisis had been overcome.
