French minister sees slowdown lasting "several months"

PARIS (Reuters) - French Budget Minister Eric Woerth said on Sunday that the global economic slowdown could last "several months" and the situation might not improve until the end of 2009.

"Towards the end of 2009, things might get better," Woerth told France 2 television.
