Somali pirates release Greek ship
NAIROBI (Reuters) - Somali pirates have released a Greek ship they captured more than two months ago, a Kenyan maritime official said on Friday.
"MV Centauri has been released, she is now under way to Mombasa port," said Andrew Mwangura of the East African Seafarer's Assistance Programme.
The ship had a crew of 26 Filipinos and was due to discharge 17,000 tonnes of bulk salt at the Kenya port when it was hijacked in mid September off Somalia.
