A regulation win for Chelsea against the league's bottom team.

Didier Drogba headed in a deep Joe Cole cross after three minutes and Frank Lampard dinked a deserved second after West Brom failed to clear at the end of the first half.

Lampard tried another chip when through in the second half but popped it straight into the keeper's arms and Chelsea did no more than the necessary to close out the game.

LIVERPOOL 3 BOLTON WANDERERS 0

Liverpool returned to the top after Chelsea had displaced them for a few hours following their early win over West Brom.

A first half goal from Albert Riera and two early in the second half from Robbie Keane, who has now scored three times in the last two matches, secured Liverpool's victory.
