FACTBOX: Developments in Gaza fighting, Jan 7
(Reuters) - Following are developments in the fighting in the Gaza Strip as of 2 p.m. EST:

* GAZA - One man was killed in a house by an air strike on the Nuzeirat refugee camp south of Gaza city, rescue workers.
* GAZA - Violence resumed after a three-hour truce set for between 1100-1400 GMT (6 a.m. EST-9 a.m. EST) expired, and Palestinians returned to their homes after stocking up on food.
In the ensuing fighting, at least 16 Palestinians were killed by Israeli attacks, medical workers said. At least four of those were civilians, including three children.
* SOUTHERN ISRAEL - At least 15 Hamas rockets hit towns in southern Israel, causing no casualties.
* GAZA - The total Palestinian death toll reached 654, medical officials said. Toll for Palestinians excludes Israeli army reports of more than 130 militants killed in ground fighting since January 3.
* JERUSALEM - Two Israeli officials will hold further talks with Egypt and France on a ceasefire plan, Israeli political sources said.
GAZA - Israeli air strikes destroy over 20 houses in the southern town of Rafah, witnesses said. Medical workers said the body of an elderly man had been recovered from the rubble. Continued...
